About Cheri Sorensen who is a self taught portrait artist with over 20 years of experience. Cheri has been involved with many different facets of the Dog, Equine, and Wildlfe industries over the years. She has a vast number of awards and has also been featured in multiple magazines and in the book "Of Women and Horses".
Recently, Cheri has taken up working with the local Search and Rescue team as a K9 dog handler, where she uses her Rhodesian Ridgeback as part of her search team. Cheri has worked with Dogs and Horses for years and has had several national champion lure coursing dogs. It is this love and understanding of animals that allows Cheri to bring out their true personality in her portraits.
